What happened to the stories of the little girls that didn't like getting dirty, who sat quietly watching their mommy cook, who were uninterested in getting into trouble or foul play?
Not my little girl.
She's always been a rambunctious little girl, always running around, always talking (even before she even knew how to talk), and always playing silly games.
Let me recap the events my two year old has gotten herself into:
1) 1 year old-

Paul lost his keys for one whole week. We searched the entire house, and we knew our little girl had something to do with it. I asked her to take me to her hiding place, but she did not want to give it away-- so she mislead me to her decoy hiding places: under the bed, under the crib, under the couch. One day, I hear her little feet scampering against my floor. I found her wearing Paul's keys around her neck. To this day, I still do not know where her hiding place was.

1 YR OLD - One day, after giving her a bath and changing her into fresh clothes, I turned around to find her lotion. The next thing I know I see her splashing around in her old bathwater, playing with muscle milk. MUSCLE MILK? WHERE DID THE MUSCLE MILK COME FROM????
2)

9 Months Old-
Spaghetti for lunch? Sure! MY baby LOVES pasta, so why not let her indulge. This picture, my friends, is only the beginning. A few minutes later, she started "shampooing" her head with her spaghetti sauce. She was completely covered in saucy tomatoey goodness. I hope she knows to do this if she ever encounters the stink of a skunk...
3) 18 months old-

I made an effort to keep sweets away from Kassie for a whole year. She barely knew what cookies, ice cream and cake was for that one amazing year. Then, before her 2nd birthday she discovered cookies and icecream. She will do anything to get her hands on it.
One of her devious little plans is to ask for a "hug" if she sees something out of her reach- that way I'll lift her up or she'll attempt to use my body as a ladder. (SIGH) Already trying to manipulate people's emotions!!!
4)

Kassie's most recent artwork. She has graduated from writing on the walls with washable ink to something shall we say more realistic and conceptual.
One night while I was cooking dinner, she was quietly watching tv & playing. I should have immediately knew that there was trouble brewing since the 1st sign is always QUIET.
I later found her paving the driveway of her farmhouse with cheese. I guess to make a softer walking turf for her horse than the roof. My little cheesehead..........
Are these trouble making signs signs for a trouble making teen? I certainly hope not.
Not my little angel!

Kassie's "innocent" face. It's as if she's saying: "Who? ME? I didn't do it. O:-) "
