She's finally here and I'm so happy!!

She decided to come almost 2 weeks early and I'm thrilled! Holding her and seeing her and smelling her little baby head was the best feeling I've ever had. In my eyes, she's the most perfect little thing I've ever seen. She is 6 pounds and 10 oz with big dark brown eyes like her mommy and a little dimple on her smile like her daddy. She didn't even seem upset about being forced out of her home that shes had for the past 8 months, the first time i held her she smiled at me and stared. =)

Paul and I feel so truly blessed to have her in our life. We want to do the best we can to make sure that we are good parents. Paul hasn't had a cigarette since she was born-- a hard thing that even I thought he couldn't do since he has been addicted since he was 16-- all for Kassie. We're so in love. I can't even describe the feelings I feel when I watch my true love holding our baby. It's overwhelming, and I feel like the luckiest person alive. =)
